Ellen initiated a long-term strategy to promote the site through the local plan, resulting in an allocation for a mixed use residential led redevelopment. She successfully led community and stakeholder engagement and achieved outline planning permission for 403 dwellings, including conversion of a listed building and associated retail and employment floorspace.
